Two-Player Rules

* The numbers and letters are not used in two player mode (except during a ruse).
Setup
One player is the beagle (the white cube) and one is the Red Baron (the red cube). Place cubes at opposite ends of the card (the top and bottom spaces next to the lines going off the card). You may start on either side of the card. Roll a single die to determine which player goes first.
Goal
Players take turns trying to get into position and then shoot at their rival. The first player to reach 10 hits is declared the winner.
Gameplay
On a turn, a player gets 3 dice and rolls them one at a time. They must roll the first die, but the second and third are optional. A die that has yet to be rolled on a turn is called a "reserve die." The first die is always for movement. The second and third dice can be used for movement or firing your machine gun. You must declare how you are using your second and third dice before rolling them.

1. Movement
You can move the number of spaces on the die, attempting to land exactly on your rival's cube (dive) or close enough to shoot at (within range). When moving, you cannot pass through or over your rival's cube. Any time you pass through your rival's symbol on the map, you lose a reserve die. If you don't have any reserve dice, then you can't pass through your rival's symbol. Nothing special happens if you pass through your own symbol. Ignore numbers and letters.

a. Special Cases
If you ever roll a one during movement, you do not move and your guns malfunction. If you have reserve dice, you can use them for movement but you cannot fire any weapons that turn.
If you ever roll a six during movement, you are outmaneuvered and you end your turn.

b. Ruse
A player may attempt a ruse by following the path off the side of the card. In that case, flip the card horizontally and continue on the path on the opposite side. The rival then rolls a die to determine their new position. The new position is the closest space to the other player with the same number as the rolled die (including the space occupied by the other player).

2. Scoring hits
a. Dives
If you land on the same location as your rival, you have a chance to score two hits automatically, with no dice roll needed. However, your rival may counter your dive and score one hit against you. A roll of 5 or 6 (rolled by the player being attacked) is a successful counter. Whenever a counter is successful, the attacker does not score any hits and their turn ends even if they have dice remaining. If the attacker is successful and still has reserve dice, their next die must be used for movement.

b. Close Range
A player is within range if they are within 3 spaces of their rival and the rival's mark is not between them. Within range, the attacker has a chance to score one hit with each die. To score a hit, the attacker first rolls a die and subtracts from it the number of spaces they are from their rival. To evade the attack, the player being attacked must roll a number higher than that number. For example, a player is two spaces away from their rival and they roll a 4, so they subtract 2 from 4 for the result of 2. To evade the attack the player being attacked must roll a 3 or higher. Whether or not the attack is successful, if the attacker still has a reserve die, they may use it to fire their weapons again or attempt a dive.

Solo Rules

For the normal mode, just follow all rules. For the hard mode: Skip the ‘reroll’ step at the round play.Start with 5 dice for the easymode. Use 4 dice for hard mode.
Setup
Roll all dice and decide where you would like to start. It should be a point that matches the numbers of your dice on any side of the card. Put your cube on the starting position. You are buckled up to fight the Red Baron!
Round play
A dogfight consists of several playing rounds. Play until one score tracker reaches 10.

At the start of the round, except the first round: Increase the score of the Red Baron with +1 mustache.
Roll all dice.
Before performing any action (optionally) reroll all dice if you like.
Next, assign all other dice to the connected points one by one, you can only assign a die if it matches the number of the point.
Use the cube to highlight your position.
It’s not allowed to reuse any die during a round. Every step you take will cost you one die. You can't cross the same path two times in the same round.
In case you are able to make a move towards a certain point you must always make that move.
You may use any die to move to points with a letter. To some points you can only move with an even or odd die value. But it will cost you one die anyway to move there.
Actions: Executing the appropriate actions, on the unused dice.
C: change 1 die face
R: reroll any number of dice
Scoring: Update the score tracker by sliding the paper clip in case you pass a mustache or a dog bone. 
Ruse: Moving to the opposite side of the card causes the Red Baron to lose track of you. Do not increase the score of the Red Baron at the start of the next round.
